It is a pretty good book with good stories and art. Each story gives a gimps into the various parts of the Deadlands setting. I particularly liked the story with the chalk board. The two main negatives i have with the book are all in the first story.First, a character fires a revolver and the the entire cartridge is shown hitting and going through an object. Not just the bullet, the project, but the entire cartridge that is loaded into the cylinder. The cartridge is full drawn correctly, showing the special projectile and the rim on the case and everything, flying through the air. Considering the setting is for a TTRPG, and a war game in the past, set in alternate history of the wild west, basic working knowledge of how firearms and ammunition worked would be accurately depicted.Second, and this one admittedly is a bit more subjective than the first, but the villain of the makes a remark that is almost word for word a quote from Thomas Edison. This line came off to me as cringe and forced.
