6-Cup PerfectPour Glass Jar: The thick, sturdy glass jar has a classic feel with advanced performance, and the spout is molded for easy, spill-free pouring.
700W Motor: The energetic motor delivers 700W at peak performance* to easily crush and blend an array of ingredients. For continuous use, the blender uses 350W of power.
4-Tip QuadPro Blade Technology: The 4-tip stainless steel blending blade works with the shape of the jar to create a constant flow and vortex that leads ingredients directly to the blades for fast blending performance.

Wanted something to go with a retro kitchen but didn't want to spring for the fancy repros so I settled on this reasonably priced and pretty red model. I wanted a glass pitcher and it's a nice hefty weight (maybe a little too heavy) and easy to clean and disassemble. Also didn't want a million buttons or fancy settings, just something straightforward. It fills all these requirements, but....The lid is very tight and difficult to remove and if you don't push it or the plastic openings down and you've got a full pitcher, you might get leakage. The blades are fairly wussy and short, and the high setting isn't that powerful. I'm not blending anything too hard or solid, just a few pieces of frozen fruit for smoothies. I definitely went with style over substance and I probably wouldn't buy again but I gave it 4 stars because I got what I was shopping for.I use this blender primarily to make smoothies with fresh fruit. It works perfectly even when I remember to add ice cubes. Its one flaw is the plastic covers on the lid, for the pouring spout and the hole on top, for adding to the mix. The latter broke and fell off for no apparent reason, while the spout cover has no function and will not be missed when it too self-destructs. I am replacing a Braun blender I had for over 20 years. The quality was a little better than this, but tutto declina, as Italians often remark.First time it leaked, but it's fine after I tighten the bottom parts. Glass jar is easy to clean. Sometimes there is one or two small pieces that are not fully blended, but overall did a good job.Todo esta perfecto, lo que más me agrado fue la tapa con doble opción para adherir más cosas al vaso de la licuadoraThe blender I purchased was a Black in Decker, I needed one for numerous reasons, so far, the blending power is strong as advertised, for all the levels, not only that, its easy to wash by hand as well as the dishwasher, this blender may have some type of non stick on the glass, because nothing sticks or stains the glass, that's even with food, the pitcher is really heavy, be careful, the only problem I had with this blender wss the top, I like the easy pour sprout top, but I think I would have put a top on it that didn't go so far down in the pitcher, which tends to get stuck when wet making the to incredibly hard to remove e from the pitcher part of the blender, but I still like it and it really blends everything just as advertised really to perfection, so yeah, I can't knock this one just because of the inside suction on the sprout pour top. I think its a descent price for a Black and Decker product, I'm enjoying mine :-)I use this almost every day. Hasn't failed me yetActually there's really nothing bad to say about it , it blends super great & does exactly what it's supposed to do . The really good thing about this blender is that your able to unscrew the blade part to wash any stuck food in it , now I never had a blender that was able to disassemble like this one ,So I'm very pleased with your product ,oh and the other thing is your blender doesn't leave no bad smelling odor on it even after it's been washed ,I just wanted to make sure to put this out there cause I was reading articles online about blender's having a bad smell and not being able to get the smell off even after washing it . Thank you for allowing me to post my opinionThis blender didn't do a lot for me. Here's a list of things it didn't do:It didn't catch fire or blow black smoke when I plugged it in.It didn't break the second time I ever used it.It didn't topple over and spill smoothie everywhere. The glass didn't break when I used it.The blades didn't come apart and leave sharp metal pieces. It didn't trap gunk in it, rendering it impossible to clean. It didn't cost an arm and a leg.Why didn't it do these things? Mainly because I have enough common sense and mother's teaching of how to use a kitchen appliance. I also know the difference between shipping damage and a crappy product and how that should affect the product review. What did it do? It blended. Just like it's supposed to. All without costing $159+ simply because making smoothies is extremely popular now, and most corporate jackasses want to take advantage of the trend.
