This is the right size for me.Always buy a Therafin board!!! There is no comparison between this slide board and others!This board has made my transfers easier and less sttess on my back!It does the trick. Helps me get to one chair and bed with much less effort. It is what I needed to make my daily movements easier.This board is expensive but by comparison to all the other boards tried this one is like dying and going to board heaven. Even though it's regularly in touch with my rear end, I just told my wife, I love this board so much I'm on the verge of giving it big kisses, top, bottom, front, side, all over the thing. When one needs a good, safe slide board, one that readily slides, is light weight, thin but still wonderfully stiff, and one that can actually slide, (with a bit more difficulty), with bare skin, by comparison to all other boards, this one's got it all. If this sounds like a delighted purchaser that would be exactly right.I know that for a thin plank of wood it seems expensive, but this board is incredible. I'm a big guy, and yet I transferred from my bed to wheelchair with ease this morning. I have actually bought more expensive transfer boards that are nowhere near as goo as this one. Well worth the money!This board made it super easy for me to transport my husband. This particular board was recommended to me by a physical therapist. The board is sturdy and it is easy to slide on.Easy to slide on much better than what they had in hospital
