I have rheumatoid arthritis and using these to exercise my hands has helped. I have a better grip whereas before I kept dropping things. Also helps by reducing hand pain. So simple yet very effective.This is perfect for beginners after a break. Great tension without being too hard.It does what it is supposed to do.Just wish it was a little larger.The ball is small enough that it could fit inside a Wilson "Blue Bullet" racket ball.I can still use it to exercise my fingers... but have to hold it at the bottom of my hand (little, ring, and middle fingers).I really love Black Mountain Products diverse range of workout gear. These balls are no exception. I don’t really notice any difference in hardness though between these three balls. But it’s ok. They’re plenty firm and give my hands and arms a good workout.I hate giving a bad review on a product. And in this case doubly so. Individually, the hand therapy balls are probably 3+ or 4 stars. The problem is that I ordered the package which included 2 each of each color (6 in all) to have different levels of resistance. But try as I may, I can't see any difference whatsoever in what is supposed to be three different levels of resistance. I have bought BMP products in the past and think they are a terrific company with very good products reasonably priced. Maybe I have just set the bar to high for this company becasue of past experiences which have been very good.A lot smaller than expectedMy daughter recently stopped smoking. She was needing something to do with her hands. She was excited to get this ball. It helps build hand strength and gives her something to fidget with until the desire to hold a cigarette passes.I use it while watching TV. To say there are 3 different resistances in soft/med/hard is misleading, if not a downright lie.The material is alright but expensive for what you're getting.
