I really liked the look and feel of this grab strap until I buckled it onto the saddle. As soon as I pushed the end through the keeper, the keeper just popped loose. Trust me., I have weak hands so did not put that much pressure on it. I guess it can still be used, but did expect it to last more than 30 minutes.I’ve purchased grab straps in the past that were too short to be effective. This one is a perfect length!Great leather and quality, especially for the price!Does the job poor leather quality as it’s flaking already. But it does it’s job when my green horse is buckingThis was a cheap, simple, quick, and easy addition to my saddle. I had a fall from my young horse a couple months ago and fractured 2 bones in my lower back. I couldn't shake my nerves getting back in the saddle, so my bf ordered this for me. Not only has it helped me gain some of my confidence back in the saddle, but it has also helped me with working on a steadier rein connection. Worth every penny and seems like it will hold up well!This is a very nice hand hold (bucking) strap. Nice leather and buckles and attractive to look at which is great when purchasing something that is to be used on a high end saddle. Only thing that is less than positive is that it is slightly long - not a bad thing when you are talking about having something that is able to be grabbed in an emergency.Good value for the money.I almost didn't buy this because one review had said it was to long. I ordered it anyways and am so glad I did! It's perfect, I recently started riding again after a ten plus year gap - love english saddles but just wanted a little extra support of something to hold on to while running. This strap is very well made, leather and the length is perfect! Can not beat the price!!!! Would definitely recommend to buy!Ordering again for another kids saddle
