The pump operates strangely. It has an unnecessary on/off little metal valve; the air splint already has an on/off valve. On top of that the metal valve has a hole at one of the ends which you need to keep your thumb on to prevent air leaking out. Unfortunately, it's the only pump that will fill the URIAS air splint. A RoHo pump won't fit.This pump did not work. It did not inflate the plastic elbow cuff to keep my bent arm straight. Instead, the air kept escaping through the metal pipe to the point that I could take the cuff off while still inflated. It did not keep the cuff tight enough to keep my arm straight after stretching it. I had to keep using my other hand to keep the arm straight as the pressure was so low that my arm just kept bending back to a contracture. The pump simply would not pump enough air and it kept escaping through the metal pipe in the middle of the pump's hose.There is no choice for...product was not delivered despite assurances that it was. So, I hope this gets to you. The pump arrived though. - but no sleeve. Please let me know what the next step is. My OT recommended it, I tried it in therapy, liked it and decided to purchase one.
