These have worked out excellent for my 9-year-old. She's still new in gymnastics and started getting blisters from the bar. These grips have really helped, along with some chalk. Got into a bit of a dispute with another parent about how to properly wear these palm grips. These are NOT dowel grips, so these grips are only intended to cover/protect the palms. If you buy them a little large (like I did, size M for 3" palm length), you can fold the leather at the base of the fingers to act as a false dowel and get some finger protection and extra grip.Son buenos grips, para entrenar con más comodidadMy daughter is on a competitive gymnastics team so I purchased these for her birthday before the season began. She used them twice to practice at a local gym bar. The first use they started wearing terribly even with plenty of chalk. The writing on the grip was gone by first use. By the second use they looked as if they might rip and became extremely dirty. I thought they would be good beginner grips but they have shown to be not durable enough for an 8 year old.Got the medium size for my 10 year old. They are a little big but she’s small for her age. They fit fine but found out that the left and right grip thickness are not the same. So we have to get another pair.These gloves were so uncomfortable that my daughter was unable to use them. She tried several times and even though the size measurements were correct they seemed to pinch her fingers.It say medium but it supper small usually I won’t complain but my hand are very small and it doesn’t fitI bought these grip for my twin girls and they are pretty good for their price! Obviously you have to break them in so they feel comfortable, but that is the only not so good thing! Overall they are really good and I would recommend these to a lot of people?‍♀️We purchased these in 2017 for my daughter to use for gymnastics. As other reviewers have noted they are garbage. Created a number of problems as they are abrasive and can cause quite a bit of irritation. They are ok for someone to use once in a blue, but NOT for anyone in competitive! My daughter liked them because of the pink colour but they caused a lot of unnecessary problems. Save yourself the money and hassle and purchase a reputable brand. I don’t recommend them for gymnasts.Quality wise this is not the best for competition level gymnastics. Order these and when they arrived the size was off despite us using the measuring guide. Even the measuring guide that came with the product showed that the received product didn’t match the size expected. Shipment arrived on time but outside of that this was a waste of time and money for usI bought this for my grand daughter and it is rough on the wrist, it scratches and she won't be wearing this. Her teachers took a look to see if she was wearing it wrong and told her it was no good. I do not recommend this product
