This rug looked cheap from the moment we got it. You can't clean it, it's really heavy, so you can't shake it out outside, and we found the pieces of leather everywhere in our house because it falls apart so easily. The leather strips were clearly scraps (different shapes with no real uniformity) and even had words printed on some. Save your money. We threw this rug out in a month we were so displeased with it.
